About Fulton, MI - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Fulton, Michigan is an unincorporated community found near the center of Wakeshma Township. It is the headquarters of the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of Potawatomi. Fulton is situated about 20 miles southeast of Kalamazoo and 22 miles southwest of Battle Creek. As of the 2010 census, only about 1,300 people resided in the township.
Fulton is a small community, and while there aren’t any major attractions here, there are a few local businesses. The Fulton Little Store offers convenience items to residents, and Fulton Sign & Design is found along E W Ave. The Fulton Christian Church also calls the community home, and outdoor recreation can be enjoyed in the Fulton State Game Area.
Like the rest of southern Michigan, Fulton is found within a humid continental climate zone. The good news is that this leads to four contrasting seasons throughout the year, offering a wealth of outdoor recreational opportunities. Summer weather is very warm with high humidity levels, and daytime highs average at around 80 degrees Fahrenheit. While these thermostat readings may not sound oppressively hot, when coupled with high dew point readings, temperatures can become uncomfortable both indoors and outdoors. Fortunately, central air conditioning can both cool off temperatures inside and can also help to remove excess moisture from circulating air, leaving comfortable conditions that the entire family can enjoy.
Winter weather in Fulton is contrasting to summertime conditions. Temperatures fall throughout the autumn months, and by January, average daily highs only reach about 33 degrees Fahrenheit. Residents will also need to battle significant snowfall throughout the season, and this can lead to dangerous conditions outdoors. Pipes and plumbing could freeze without the right precautions in place, so Fulton residents should consider their home heating systems wisely in order to select the solution that will best heat their homes throughout the season.
